hey guys today we are taking a break from the normal video game review. I present my first ever ACTION FIGURE REVIEW! This is my first time working with this camera, so please don't make fun of the pics, I am doing my best. Today's review will be on everone's favorite ragin' cajun, MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES 4 GAMBIT! I bet a lot of you are asking, who? He is a part of the x-men, he has the ability to change regular everyday items into exploding projectiles. His mostly know projectile is a simple deck of playing cards. Now onto the review!
Sculpting: gambit's sculpt is great! The caught the look and feel of the charactor well. I personally LOVE how they gave him the half smile, half smirk. He is one of the best marvel legends figures to date. 4 of 4 stars **** of ****
Paint: Expect the same quality paint applications you've seen in previous waves. Nothing was wrong with mine, but I did see some with messed up faces paint, so be careful picking out yours.
Packaging: It is new and improved, showing stats. It is good, but I don't agree with some of their choices of the grid. 3 of 4 stars (because I don't agree with the grid) *** of ****
Articulation: HE HAS A WHOPPING 38 POINTS! This is a very posable figure. 4 of 4 **** of ****
Accessories: Gambit comes with a staff, "thrown cards" , a base and a comic book. His staff is pretty cruddy. It already comes prebent in the package, there is no way to avoid this. The plastic is bendy plastic, it is very terrible. Other than the use of plastic, gambit is fine. The "thrown cards" is great, with four embedded aces on it. Not much else to say. The base is AWESOME. It is a crushed sentenial hand, and it has TONS of detail (broken wiars, destroyed fingers, etc.). The comic is great, how many times have you seen gambit play basketball? The only thing hurting him in this catagory is his bendy staff. 4 of 4 **** of *****
Value: This is an EXCELLENT VALUE! It is a great figure and should not be skipped! A SIMPLE MUST HAVE IS NICE! These range from 6.88 (walmart) to 8.99 (toys r us) just so you know. I got mine at toys r us, and it is a GREAT value. 4 of 4 **** Of ****
